I bet many of us hv listened to the #1 hit "Down" & top-10 hit "Do you remember" by Jay Sean last year, back to late 2009 and this year, early 2010 at least once.
I'm not going to review these two upbeat songs.
Another song off his 3rd album "All or Nothing" is far more impressive imo.
It's a sad song called "War".

One thing need to be clarified first, I hvn't experienced any love failure yet boz I hv never had a gf B4. Here is the mystery! Every time I listen to this song, I feel sad. I feel sorry about the man (stance: who sings this song) losing her gf boz of the third party.
The song's melody is simple but beautiful. With the help of lyrics, it's easy for guys to imagine u're fighting for yr gf against yr enemies.
The whole background/picture in this song is clear. The song starts with a realistic scene, a man "march across the desert" and "lie in the trenches" to be ready for protecting his territory (symbolize the man's place in the girl's heart). He then knows that this is no longer a love game anymore but rather is a War of Love in the pre-chorus. When it comes to the chorus, the war between 2 men starts. Later on, he tries to convince her gf or say: wake her up. Yet, it's pointless. The 1st man is already "Getting kind of sick of this battle" but he still doesn't give up/back down. Although he knows himself doesn't like battles, he has no choices unless letting her go.
